TEACHING IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL

The following documentation provides the information required for employment in Catholic schools in the Townsville Diocese. To register for teaching in the Townsville Diocese,  please refer to the section "Teaching in the Townsville Diocese".   Please note, for information regarding remote area teaching and associated incentives, please refer to the section “Living and Working in the Diocese”.  

Secondary Colleges recruit and select their own teaching staff.   Applications for these positions should be made directly to the college.   You should regularly review the Townsville Bulletin and/or The Courier Mail for vacant positions (advertisements are normally placed in Saturday's weekly edition).

Queensland College of Teachers registration

All teachers and Senior Administration staff in Queensland require current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers   www.qct.edu.au
