INTRODUCTION

Southern Cross Catholic School opened in January 1998 with 50 students. It is situated in Annandale on 7 hectares of land. The Southern Cross mission is to provide an excellent Catholic education for the students seeking a Catholic education in the area. The simple, strong motto, "SHINE", applies to all aspects of school life. The school seeks to shine as a Christian community, as individual learners, and as a group within the Townsville community.
