INTRODUCTION

St Margaret Mary's, designed by Monsignor Vandeleur, was officially opened in 1963, and in 1964 enrolled 154 students.  The College was operated under the auspices of the Good Samaritan Sisters.  Over the years the site has undergone many changes as it has grown to its present enrolment of 628.  In the mid eighties, the Primary School closed its doors, and the students were relocated to the Marian school.  The site then became a secondary girls school. 

St Margaret Mary's College is a secondary day school catering for girls in Years 8 - 12. St Margaret Mary's College is advised by a School Board and administered by a lay Principal and staff.
