About the CentreThe Resource Centre is part of the Religious Education, Curriculum, ICT and Indigenous Education Team of the Townsville Catholic Education Office. Its main aim is to support those involved in Religious Education and Personal Development Education in the school, parish and home by providing appropriate, good quality resources supported by professional consultancy services. The Resource Centre also supports the resource and information needs of those undertaking Religious Studies and the staff within the Townsville Catholic Education Office itself. The CollectionThe Resource Centre houses a collection of about 11,000 items in a variety of formats including:
The resources are primarily in the area of Religious Education but the Resource Centre also has resources available for Personal Development Education, Indigenous Education and some other KLA areas. While the main focus is on resources for the staff and students of our schools, there are titles for parish use and for all age levels. Where to find usThe Resource Centre is located in an annex of the Ryan Catholic College Junior Campus Library on Golf Links Drive, Kirwan. There is also a small Reading Room located in the Townsville Catholic Education Office building. This room houses new and frequently used resources. Visits can be made to the Resource Centre by arrangement through contacting the Library Resources Co-ordinator at the Townsville Catholic Education Office. Available Documents
