How can the Resource Centre assist users?

The Resource Centre provides access to a collection of about 11,000 resources. However, it is much more than a lending service. To assist schools, parishes and those undertaking Religious Studies, the Resource Centre offers a number of services:

• An online catalogue for searching and booking resources
• A consultancy service to assist in the selection of age and subject appropriate resources
• Customized bibliographies for  Religious Studies, Religious Education, Personal Development Education and other curriculum units
• Interlibrary loans and document delivery of journal and magazine articles
• Reference services for print and web information on current religious, social and political issues
• Resource location and pricing service
• Resource preview service
• Copyright advice service
• Resource delivery to anywhere in the Townsville Diocese
