2019 Severe Weather Event Progress report - Wednesday, 6 February 2019

We were able to welcome back a majority of students across our schools and kindergartens of the Diocese today.

Despite some heavy rain at school drop off today many children made it to school.  As always, parents make the safe decision as to whether children attend or not in rain events.

We are thinking of our many families and staff impacted by this severe weather event.  We will be supporting our school communities in this important recovery phase.  We remain committed to the education and pastoral care of the many students in our schools.  Please see below information on our schools and kindergartens.  Outside School Hours Care are also open.

Note that St Margaret Mary’s College, Hyde Park will open for Years 7, 11 & 12 tomorrow Thursday, 7 February 2019 on the Benedictine Campus (Charters Towers Road).

Years 8, 9 & 10 are not able to attend whilst we repair the Samaritan Campus (Crowle Street).  The College will advise when Years 8, 9 & 10 will return.
