Townsville Region

The Townsville region is home to 11 Catholic Schools across primary, secondary and P-12. Townsville is the largest urban area located north of the Sunshine Coast and the 4th biggest city in Queensland. Living in the tropics and experiencing the picturesque landscapes is easy with a 20 minute ferry ride to Magnetic Island which boasts 23 bays and beaches. Townsville is an ideal location for those wanting a city feel with a tropical lifestyle where adventure in the sun is achievable every day.

Ingham, Halifax and Abergowrie

Townsville Catholic Education has 4 schools that span this northern region. Ingham, 111kms North of Townsville, is affectionately named Queenslands ‘Little Italy’ hosting the Italian Australian Festival annually. Inclusive of Abergowrie, this region is home to the UNESCO World Heritage–listed - Wallaman Falls - Australia's highest permanent single drop waterfall and the TYTO Wetlands which is inhabited by more than 245 species of birds.
