Ryan Catholic College is extremely proud to offer our students from Year 4 - 12 the opportunity to be involved in our AFL Academy. Since its inception in 2019, the AFL Academy has gone from strength to strength. The Academy is not just an elite program but one open to all students. Anyone that would like to be involved can be.

This year Ryan entered teams in all age groups, including:

We had a successful year with our Primary Boys, Primary Girls and Junior Girls all winning the local competition and progressing through to the NQ Cup.  Our Primary girls were outstanding and won the NQ Cup, booking themselves a place in the State Titles.

Our Primary Girls team consisted of 18 Year 6 girls.  The majority of these girls have been a part of our AFL Academy since Year 4.  The team has recently returned from their trip to Maroochydore for the State Titles, taking out 4th place.
