St Mary's Catholic School's renovations win Industry award

St Mary’s Catholic School, Bowen was on display at the recent Master Builders Awards for the Mackay and Whitsunday Regions. Local builder, Lowcock Builders won the Refurbishment/Renovation up to $750,000 award for the work they did on the Prep room and Administration upgrade.

“As a school, we could not be more grateful towards Lowcock Builders for undertaking this project with such great professionalism.  Lowcock Builders are very deserving on receiving the Master Builders Award for this project,” said Ms Colette Williams, Principal of St Mary’s Catholic School, Bowen.

During 2018, the school’s Prep and Administration spaces were upgraded. The Administration area was completely remodelled to allow for an open, contemporary and inviting space. The goal of this area was to be a place where parents felt very welcome, to feel like home and to be highly functional in terms of workspace and storage.
