Supply Staff

Townsville Catholic Education warmly invites Supply Teachers and Supply School Officers to register their interest in joining our supply workforce across our Townsville & regional areas schools.

REGISTER TO BECOME SUPPLY STAFF

To begin, please complete the online application, which will ask you to provide:

• Your current contact details
• Copies of your current, relevant qualifications and identification
• Details of two (2) contactable professional referees (current/most recent supervisor/s)

Once your application is submitted, Townsville Catholic Education will conduct two reference checks. Your nominated referees will be contacted via email and asked to complete an online Referee Report. Please ensure referee email addresses are correct and that your referees are your current or most recent supervisor/s.

Upon receipt of favourable referee reports, your application will progress to the document verification and identification stage.

Employment & Mandatory Training

If all requirements are successfully met, Townsville Catholic Education will prepare a Casual Employment Contract, endorsed by the TCEO Executive Director (or delegate). This contract will be emailed to you for review and electronic acceptance.

All employees are required to complete mandatory online training modules such as:

• Student Protection Training
• Workplace Health & Safety
• Compliance training
  
  

Supply Bookings – Tap for Teacher

Once approved, you will be invited to create a profile with Tap for Teacher, the third-party booking system used by all TCE schools to engage supply staff. This is the only platform through which schools can book Supply Teachers and Supply School Officers.

Your Tap for Teacher profile will include information such as your contact details, qualifications, availability, and preferred schools. You will also be provided with a TCE supply email address, which must be used when registering your profile.
