Careers in Catholic Education

Drawing on tradition and long-standing, strong Catholic values, Townsville Catholic Education strives to provide a learning environment wherein our students are inspired to flourish academically and spiritually.

Catholic education contributes to the Church's mission and to the local communities in which our schools exist. The schools we support offer a place to emanate Gospel values and Church teachings across all policies, practices, and relationships across the community.

The Catholic school is a community with the task of teaching the message of truth, proclaiming our mutual faith in Jesus Christ and our shared inner life of the spirit. Essential to the life of a Catholic school, Gospel values provide the environment for both the learning process, and the love of learning.

All Catholic schools supported by the Townsville Catholic Education office promote inclusiveness, flexibility, and accessibility. No child is refused a Catholic education due to financial difficulty.
